NH38 Movement:
The NH series of movements are one of the most widely used automatic movements for a reason – they're tough and accurate.
The NH38 is a solid, no frills work horse.
Automatic/self winding mechanical, 24 Jewels with 41 hrs power reserve.
55 turns of the crown = fully wound.
The movement cannot be overwound thanks to its design.
Central hours; central minutes; central sweeping seconds.
Hacking (second hand stops when adjusting time).
29mm jet black background with large yellow numeric hour markers, smaller white numerics every 5 minutes on the outer rim complete with white military time markers (24hr clock) on the inner circle.
Red baton hour/minute/second 8mm x 12mm x 12.5mm (measured from the center of the hand hole to the top of the hand) . Green luminousity for night time.
36mm solid black 316L stainless steel with sapphire crystal and a solid case back for slimmer fit.
100m water resistance.
20mm lug width (for bracelet/strap).
Screw down crown.

Yellow and black nylon fluoro rubber soft silicone with traditional pin buckle.

The NH38 should be fully wound after about 55 manual turns of the crown.
Setting the time on a watch with the NH38 movement is straightforward:
First, unscrew the crown from its case.
1. This is the "hand" winding position. Wind the crown clockwise.
2.Pull the crown out to the first position. This stops the seconds hand (hacking function), allowing for precise time setting .
Rotate clockwise to move the hour and minute hands forwards (not backwards).
3. Push the crown back in to start the movement.
The seconds hand will resume moving, and your time is set.
This movement is also equipped with the “Seiko Magic Lever” so shaking the watch side to side should get it going almost immediately.
Crown should be screwed in afterwards for effective water resistance.
Your watch is built to last you for many years and in most cases will never need a service.
Lightly clean your watch and strap with a moist warm cloth making sure the crown of the watch is securely screwed in to keep any excess water out.
Dry and polish with a clean dry cloth.
