My mixed media artwork is an exploration of people, culture, music, film, and the visual stories that have stayed with me throughout my life.
I’ve always been a creative person, and that curiosity has found its way into my artwork through a combination of imagery, texture, color, layering, and unconventional materials. Rather than simply reproducing a photograph or familiar subject, I’m interested in transforming it—taking someone or something already embedded in popular culture and giving it a new visual identity.
My subjects range from iconic musicians and cinematic characters to notorious cult figures, allowing each piece to carry both an immediate sense of recognition and a more personal artistic interpretation.
What makes these pieces particularly meaningful to me is the process as much as the finished work. I approach each piece as an opportunity to experiment, build, layer, and discover where it wants to go.
The result is artwork that sits somewhere between portraiture, pop culture, collage, and contemporary mixed media, with an emphasis on character and visual impact. Pieces such as my interpretations of Amy Winehouse, Alex from A Clockwork Orange, and the Kray Twins reflect my fascination with personalities and stories that have left a lasting mark on popular culture.
These are not intended simply as portraits—they are my own visual conversations with the subjects, combining recognizable imagery with the textures, materials, and artistic decisions that make each piece distinctly mine.
